Important Times

Monday: 12:20-1:10: Technique class with Matt (required for all 1st and 2nd year students)
Wednesday: 12:20-1:10: Studio Class (required for anyone taking lessons)
Friday: 12:20-1:00: Scales Class (required for all 1st and 2nd year students)
Wednesday: 6-8pm: Performance Class (option, but highly recommended for all Percussionists

Each week, students in 111/121/127 will be prepared with:
- 2 mallet etude: Goldenberg or Bona
- 4 mallet etude, chosen from Image or Zeltsman
- Snare drum: 1 Cirone or concert snare etude and/or 1 Wilcoxen, Pratt, or other rudimental etude
- Timpani: 1 Hochrainer etude
- 4 Mallet repertoire as assigned by teacher
  - Students should work ahead to adjacent material. What will be covered in each lesson depends upon preparation of student and context of lesson
Students working with multiple teachers will coordinate their repertoire across the teachers to maximize output
By the end of their second year, students will also learn, in addition to what is listed above
- 1 xylophone rag
- 3-4 of the Delécluse snare drum etudes
- 4-5 concert keyboard solos
Each week, students in 311/321/327 will work on solo repertoire assigned by their individual teacher
